Terms of service
Last updated November 6, 2026
These terms apply when you use EventPuffin to plan an event, take part in one or sign in. By using it, you accept them. Our privacy policy explains what we keep about you.
Who provides EventPuffin
EventPuffin is run by Andri Óskarsson, a private person. You can reach us at privacy@eventpuffin.com.
The service
EventPuffin lets people plan events together: suggest times and places, vote, RSVP and claim what to bring. It is free. We may change, add or remove features, or stop the service, and will say so on the site before we stop it.
Taking part and signing in
- Without an account, you can take part in any event you have a link to.
- To create events or groups, or to publish an event, you sign in with an Atproto account, for example one on Bluesky or Eurosky. You must meet the age and other requirements of your account’s host, and follow its rules.
- Anyone with an event’s link can join it. Share links only with people you want there, and replace a link from the event’s settings if it reaches the wrong people.
Your content
What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people in your event or group, and, if you publish an event, to write it to your account’s repository on the Atproto network, where it is public.
You are responsible for what you write and publish. Only publish what you have the right to share.
Acceptable use
Don’t use EventPuffin to:
- post anything illegal, or anything that harasses, threatens or exposes another person;
- send spam or plan events in someone else’s name;
- break, overload or probe the service, or get around its limits;
- collect other people’s data from events you weren’t invited to.
We may remove content, events or accounts that break these terms, and block access to the service if we need to.
No guarantees
We provide EventPuffin as it is and as it is available. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. Don’t rely on it as the only record of something important.
As far as Danish law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by other services, such as your account’s host or the Atproto network.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. A material change is also described at the top of the page for 30 days. If you keep using EventPuffin after a change, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are settled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your own country gives you.
